regarding AM i watched a lot of nubb football this year and found guilty pleasure in "oh man how are they going to manage to screw this up?" because with all those losses they were threatening and driving the ball and then inevitably some catastrohpe would happen and they'd lose, but they had a chance. If we're going to lose i'd rather lose like that then just trotting out some predictable impotent game plan that will only work if the opposing DC is completely stupid.

I guess what i'm saying is, if i'm putting for eagle, I don't want to leave it short.

I enjoyed watching nebraska this year for several reasons:
1. they lost a lot which makes me laugh at my wife's expense
2. almost every game they played was close
3. almost every game they had multiple 4th qtr possessions to tie or take the lead, great suspense!
4. something insane would happen at the end of a half or game that would completely ruin their chances.

Again. Those aren't our only four choices, there are now 60 fbs quarterbacks in the portal. I don't know why some of you keep comparing Martinez to Howard, that shouldn't be the discussion.

Not one damn thing. He was out early in the preseason but he began practicing the week of the Stanford game

Those things are great when it isn't your team. I'd rather be boring a.f. and win 7 games then be exciting and win 5.

Yeah I agree, my point wasn’t to become Nebraska. But if AM can help keep us close/give us a chance to win the tough games and win the other 7, I’d be really happy w that.

With a better coaching staff Nebraska would have easily won 7-8 games this year. Frost is a terrible big 10 coach.

Yeah I agree, my point wasn’t to become Nebraska. But if AM can help keep us close/give us a chance to win the tough games and win the other 7, I’d be really happy w that.

Absolutely not. I’ve watched more IU football than anyone in this blogsite. Even before he got hurt for the 4th time in 4 years this season, he was a shell of himself. He’d make Grant Gregory look healthy.
