Looks like Biden doubled down on trying Putin as a war criminal and removing him from office. Good development, imo.

Using the logic of ProgLibs of 20 years ago (now turned #blueanonNeoCon/#neoconGe).   Joe Biden should have been hauled off to the Hague on or about 2004.  Given his bragging about bombing in the Balkans, possibly as early as the late 1990's.

#neoconGe should just invoke their great love for weapon carrying ultra-nationalists protecting sovereign territory in far off lands at the behest of  Dear Leader Joe Biden.

Gotta drag out the war time President for as long as possible (as the U.S. sends more weapons to Ukraine and does virtually nothing on the diplomatic front to the delight of #neoconGe)

Story time with Joe is great. I too once doubted Joe but Corn Pop was real so now I just have to admit that he is a white version of the most interesting man in the world.

this is completely unjustifiable.  very disappointing cowardice (i assume they know it is bad policy) by the biden admin.

I think they should just cancel what they are going to cancel and move on. The current policy is bonkers because if they are not going to cancel anything then they are setting a lot of people up for failure when they make people pay again.

Cancelling debt while changing absolutely nothing about how the debt is issued is bonkers to me.

would be litigated, but i would think they probably can't (both on the merits and because the court is stacked with conservatives).

Yeah I have no idea. It is not my favorite policy either, and I don’t love an executive that can just do what we it wants but if congress is just not going to act on anything then the executive picking up some slack is inevitable.

yeah, it's a really bad dynamic.

It is perverse but it kind of seems like it serves the interests of most of the people in Washington.
