Lost the NYT’s, losing CNN?

https://twitter.com/curtishouck/status/1431274051234893830?s=21

This is good news.  The last thing I want out of any media outlet is to be on a "side".  That's like, the whole point.
But you know that doesn’t happen as we watch the LA Times become vapid Gav Newsoms attack dogs, among others (just one example).

As the only true moderate on this board I’d like to come out, strongly, against fake meat.

It’s not possible to be anymore moderate than I am and I strongly support fake meat.

Why in the world are you worried about this?  There is too much news at your finger tips.  Just log off that facebook feed bud.

Yup and calling everyone a MAGA who questions any type of left leadership. Fun times! Such a "moderate" approach!
If you supported Trump on some things then in #blueanon world you supported Trump on all things.

But gotta keep invoking Trump at every turn when your guy is a clown show.

Oh I'll bite.  Tell us your list of items you didn't support Trump on.
I did not support:

-The ever increasing defense budget
-The petty fights with some allies

So literally 99.999% support

WTF fake meat we even talking here?  Like that 3d printed beef stuff?  Yeah not supporting that.  Need more research, FDA approval, 10 years of evidence, whatever the dumbhead anti-vaxxers said.

The performative outrage from conservative Twitter today was something else.

Performative outrage is a great term. I’ve enjoyed/been frustrated by the performative outrage put forth from almost all of the “sides” on any issues (and tbh, non issues) that have come up.

I can't think of many things more disingenuous than acting like Patty Pink Hair mad on twitter that someone misidentified the wrong pride flag is comparable to Kevin McCarthy going on tv and using dead soldiers in a war as propaganda chess pieces. It's a classic dax move, he does it everyday. Wacky is pouring the amens on you because he does it too, just not as cynically as dax does, more like a lost puppy pissing on the carpet because he doesn't know any better.
JFC, dude, get a grip. I can’t think of anything more disingenuous than patty, Wichita, Trim, “besty” alliance here. When’s the last time this dude visited you? When’s the last time he asked you to visit him? When’s the last time he didn’t use you as his minority Iowa friend? Had to be a decade ago now, when you both were shitting on Scott IRL south of Ames.

  wtf, what's happening here?

Unfortunately I think Trump's presidency stripped away a lot of people's emotional intelligence and replaced it with a cold insensitivity to everyone not in their preferred echo chamber.  Which unfortunately has led to many who still have emotional intelligence to be labeled as lazy, or stupid.

What is the point of this? Who are you talking about, what are you talking about? Unless this is a pointed critique of people or persons reading this, it's no different than dax yelling about blueanon then when it's pointed out that no one here supports what he's raging about then he says, not you but everyone else.

The performative outrage from conservative Twitter today was something else.

That's what politics is now.  Or had you not noticed the previous 4 years of performative outrage?  In many cases for things far more trivial than 13 dead marines.

I'd love to know what you consider trivial in this instance

Well I think there are tons of things that trump did that people were outraged about that were less trivial than soldiers dying in a war zone. You made the point, I'd love to know where this line is for you.

I mean Jesse Kelly was on Tucker saying the Biden Administration was worse than the Taliban yesterday. I don't know who did something comparable to Trump on that significant a platform.

I don't know.  I guess I would consider any outrage over things Trump SAID to be more trivial.  He said dumb weird stuff all the time and people lost their minds.

To be fair, per the meme sd shared a few days ago, lots of Trump supporters also compare themselves to the Taliban, so I’m not sure it was meant pejoratively.

One must keep in mind that anyone not in full lockstep with #blueanon orthodoxy is classified as a fascist.
