ehh, i don't think the "broken promises" thing has any legs politically. voters don't expect a president to accomplish everything on their platform (they also don't know most of it) and republican electeds have a little more self-awareness than wackycat, so they aren't going to be attacking dems on not pushing through a policy they themselves are opposed to.
if the economy is booming and covid is controlled and crime isn't surging, etc, that's about as good as dems can ask for. midterm is still uphill, but dems will have a chance.
