Three trick-or-treaters have told me that it's their birthday. Lol.

We had Halloween last night in our neighborhood (as defined by the Mormon church).  The neighborhood activity committee (as appointed by the Mormon church, AKA the relief society) distributed flyers a couple weeks ago with the set date, times, and walking routes.  Sounds weird but actually works out really well.  I dressed as a KSU fan, sat in the driveway watching the Cats game, playing cornhole with kids, handing out candy, and yelling at my longhorn neighbors and a sooner guy that walked by.

This sounds great. I’d have blasted your house with rotten eggs as a youth fyi.

We had over 300 trick-or-treaters last night (ran out of candy at 320). Like a Halloween parade on our street. Great fall scene out there.

we handed out 500 pieces of candy in about 30 minutes. It was great. We'll be more prepared next year!

We get some but our numbers aren't great.  Picked up big candy for the neighborhood kids we know/like.  There was a bonus kid with some of our friends that ended up with 2 lb gummy bear because I didn't want them left out of the bonus candy.  Big win for that kid.

my Halloween was pretty great, got to host some international phD students and their kids and take them trick or treating and they were like "what is going on?" every 2 seconds.  Also made a fire pit in my backyard and sat around that for a bit until it was too cold.  Kids are old enough I just have to remind them to be polite and not run through people's lawns and they are fine otherwise.

I also received a beautiful Halloween present as one of the international students we are friends with came back from his native Hungary and gifted me a replica vintage Hungary jersey of Puskas who he said I look like, So I went as Puskas. (pic attached below)

Solid day.

had my sister and her husband and my wife's brother and his wife over to our house last night.  built a little fire in a PIT in the front yard and handed out candy and crushed some suds and listened to monster mash about 30 times.

Interested to hear more about this.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Nice work. My kids requested pretty simple ones this year. I'm amazed every year that my brain has trouble figuring out the parts that need cut out vs the ones that need stay connected. It seems so simple, but my stupid brain gets confused every time and I end up doing a part backwards almost every year.

Invite Tom and his gang over tomorrow night.  If his other attempts are as scary as the one he made for his grand-kids he'll scare the living crap out of your fam.  :fatty: LOL

mrs clams is a real rough ridin' try-hard and went out and bought 5 boxes of full size candy bars of assorted variety.  there’s 150 bars in the kitchen. I’m tempted to sneak downstairs after she falls asleep tonight and throwing them all away so we can give the neighborhood kids the shitty treats that they truly deserve.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

the actual power move in this scenario would be get the biggest pot or pan in the kitchen, and melt all 150 of them down in the same pot. then just leave it sitting on the stove. max alpha right there (trust me i would know about stuff alpha males do)
