Imagine being a Big 10 football fan
« on: October 28, 2020, 11:10:30 AM »
Couldn't be me. The conference was like oh we don't need make up dates but now we do. If only they could have started when everyone else did now they have to pay the consequences.

Their response to covid is like not even on the radar for why being a big 10 fan would suck

I imagine all these postponements and cancellations will make bowl selection very contentious...meanwhile, Army has already accepted an invitation to the Independence Bowl to face a Pac-12 team

21 days is ridiculous, tho.

That's just taking everything we know about that age group relative to the virus and tossing it right out the window.

They have a great testing plan to eliminate contact tracing.

I was being sincere. If you're interested in these seasons being played, daily testing, and only sitting players with positive tests, is way better than sitting half a dozen guys simply because someone else in his position group tests positive.

I used :jerk: as a funny way of saying that they supposedly have impeccable testing like they think they will be able to prevent huge outbreaks because their testing is so good they can almost stop it immediately. That was in no way directed toward you it was directed towards the Big 10 thinking they are better than everyone else and that they weren’t gonna have any problems.

I think you're projecting. They waited until rapid tests were available and they're backing those up with pcr tests, there's nothing wrong with that.
