Perfect Day Thread
« on: September 26, 2020, 11:33:49 PM »
Post here when you have an amazing day and want to share.

I started today running a 25k on some beautiful trails.  Placed 2nd overall.  Driving home, I tuned in with Wyatt and Stan to witness the Cats comeback victory.  Back home, it was 70F and our pup curled up with me on the back porch while I drank beers, read a book, and checked the BBS.  Perfect day.

Who took the pictures? Did you have to run back for the camera like Les Stroud?

Oh I passed up that guy a couple miles later.  But I wasn’t going to catch the longhaired, shirtless, Cali dude that’s half my age.

Where were you running?  Between the scenery and the cats, seems pretty easy to zone out for some long stretches and forget that you're running 25k

The Words of Radiance part is what did it for me.   After I finish up the latest Joe Abercrombie (50% through right now), I will jump into it.

Richfield, UT.  Had no idea these trails were there, but Utah has secret pockets of awesome all over.
