Coaching defense vs Riley must feel like playing Madden or NCAA vs a guy who know all of the glitch plays and exploits them perfectly.

looks like OU has about 40% stadium attendance. WAY more than what we allowed last game.
Our D looks small and slow and weak
Their D is faster than our skill players

I think there are like 20k. There. The seating pattern seems pretty orderly imo.

@kashi1965 for the most part I thought the tackling and pursuit was pretty good on D. Some really bad non-effort penalties were killers. Also generally underperforming on 3rd down.

Tackling did seem to fall off a bit, especially with guys going high later in the half.

. Cats have crappy/young OL, a current dearth of good RBs, a bunch of WRs that are pretty quick, but not super great at catching, two pretty good pass catching TEs, and...

A QB whose pocket presence is better, but still not great, and a so-so at best deep ball and generally has a pretty weak arm tbh.

All signs point to swinging it around and getting quick quests ball in space, allowing TEs to use their frames on easily catchable balls, and QB sacrificing his body as a runner, all of which can help open up all the stuff Mess really wants to do.

Lots of rumblings that Warner is an absolute beast. Beebe is at OT out of pure necessity and will maul people when he can slide back in to guard where he belongs. Need 2/3 of Willis, Weiner, Mitchum to pan out at OT. In real good shape with another great OG prospect for ‘22 as well on top of Leingang this year. I don’t know if Duffie and Leveston are any good but Riley needs to get them serviceable in the meantime or the next two years are going to be rough.
