from all accounts they expect very little, if any, of a drop-off at QB at OU. This kid was the #1 high school QB in america and he has not disappointed their coaches. Their OL returns all 5 starters. I just hope the QB isnt the runner that Hurts was. The runners are very difficult to contain. If we could put a couple big hits on the young QB maybe he gets rattled. they have had veteran QBs every year Riley has been there.
I mean, maybe. Definitely can't discount they are pretty much QB U. At same time they are used to Heisman level type production. A lot to ask of a young dude.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

And is the difference maker IMO playing OU. If it's Hurts/Mayfield, worried, if it's a Landry, not so much.

Kansas State: AGENT OF CHAOS

(According to The Athletic)

Quote
Kansas State
When we talk about chaos agents, we’re talking about stuff like Kansas State 48, Oklahoma 23. That’s the lead the Wildcats took early in the fourth quarter when those teams met last October. That wild afternoon and stunning 48-41 upset of the Big 12 champs in Manhattan sent an unmistakable message to the rest of the conference: K-State is going to remain a real challenger with Chris Klieman leading the way. They’re continuing that longtime LHC Bill Snyder tradition of being the team nobody enjoys playing.

The Wildcats looked like a 6-6 team on paper going into 2019 and won eight games. They played in seven games decided by one-score margins and went 4-3. This year, they were picked to finish seventh in the Big 12 by conference media. They’re probably in for a lot more of those close battles in 2020.

Skylar Thompson is back at quarterback for his senior season. He has an intriguing young cast of skill players. He’s got Northern Iowa transfer Briley Moore, his longtime buddy, who could be a difference-maker at tight end. He’s supported by a defense that will feature a bunch of new starters and a new coordinator, but the Wildcats ranking No. 2 nationally in third-down defense last season reflects this staff quickly figuring out how to play smart defense in the Big 12. The big question mark is probably the five new starters on the offensive line. If they’re inconsistent up front, that’s going to make life tougher.

But Kansas State’s schedule is not very front-loaded. There’s a viable path to starting 5-1 going into a Nov. 7 home game against Oklahoma State that kicks off a tough stretch run. They’re scheduled to play the Cowboys, Iowa State, Baylor and Texas over their final four games. Many of those games could seriously alter the conference race. But first up in Big 12 play? Oklahoma. The Sooners are going to get a light, easy scrimmage against Missouri State to start off. Spencer Rattler’s first Big 12 start is a home game, yes, but don’t assume it’ll be easy.

Or maybe just Chaos - U? I want that to be what we're known for. Like lynch mob without any racial connotations (not that I believe there actually was any to begin with FWIW)

Pretty sure half our team is out with COVID and they probably will have large amounts of attrition too.  It won’t be like a real season so just enjoy what you get.

Guys I had a dream last night that KU just destroyed us in football this year. It was like 35-7 at the half.

We’re rotating families of 5 in and out every 30 minutes to see him over two hours. Masks required! What a blast!

i read it wrong, thought it was his first birthday party he was attending.  it's your house, so no reason the game can't be on with no volume at a minimum.

Pretty rude of this kid to infringe on kat time. I think you need to have a discussion with him about this before it gets out of hand.

I bet there aren't any birthday parties during a squawk basketball game.
