It's the Mississippi river/Mississippi border. I actually think it's pretty badass, but yeah, probably not going to win.

I bet bottom left and bottom center (which are almost identical anyways besides some colors and some leaves) end up winning.

IMO the best design would've been taking the "Mississippi" script from the E1147 semi finalist, put it on the CS7 flag. Would all go together pretty well.

The magnolia tree one is the best, if for nothing else it minimizes the clunky "in god we trust."

Also the Kansas flag and seal are elite, nerds.
