just put a big as sunflower in place of the seal. get rid of smaller sunflower. keep ad astra per aspera in there. infinitely better flag

I’m going to be honest, I thought the flag with the sunflower above the seal was altered. If you showed me two flags, one with and one without the sunflower, and asked me which was the flag I would have said without. It looks out of place.

the way all the sunflowers are shaped it looks like it started as a square and somebody stretched it in MS Paint to make it a rectangle. And the obvious flag shape is making it Kansas shaped.
also, how many versions of the goddam seal are there? Also also LOL @ putting "Seal" on your state seal.

It's the Mississippi river/Mississippi border. I actually think it's pretty badass, but yeah, probably not going to win.
I bet bottom left and bottom center (which are almost identical anyways besides some colors and some leaves) end up winning.

IMO the best design would've been taking the "Mississippi" script from the E1147 semi finalist, put it on the CS7 flag. Would all go together pretty well.
