Trim, I'll know five minutes into warm-up as to whether I'll be able to stick with it or not. I'm also playing a singles ladder and I won't be wearing a mask for that.

I also didn't mention that I need to take an abundance of caution because DSM is the #8 hot spot in the country because these Iowans haven't taken this seriously at all. It is amazing that the rural state of Iowa has essentially the same numbers as DFW.

yeah that's a good point - when you read about how the meat packing plants just don't give a solitary eff about their immigrant work force it kind of makes sense that the numbers are bad in Iowa

KDub clearly told us months ago this is a dense city with subways problem.

If you're in a small town and not working in some meat packing or other super dense workspace, I imagine you're quite a bit less likely to catch it than someone who routinely commutes to their office job via public transit.

that's a lot of caveats.  Either way, it's not just a dense population problem, which we tried to say back in March when dub was all Liberate Kansas!

That mask would redirect particles from breathing, speaking, coughing, and sneezing downward, so it would have to be effective at limiting the spread, especially compared to no mask at all. They probably provide no protection to the person wearing them, but that isn't really the point, anyway.

no I meant they were saying they weren't effective at spreading to others compared to surgical masks or homemade cotton ones.
