I don't need to slow down because I'm not exceeding the posted limit. I also don't need her sign in the road because speed limit signs are already posted throughout the neighborhood.  I have no problem with the police monitoring her street for speeders.  Our local police have plenty of time to make sure nobody commits a rolling stop at any of the twelve dozen stop signs in our neighborhood they can surely use part of that time to catch speeders so Karen can go back to not watching her children.

The replies to the quoted tweets. I've never seen so many people worried about the size of somebody else's vehicle.

I'm not entirely sure which side deserves the Karen label more in this case

In my community if anyone creates a post for a missing cat they immediately get harrassed by people about how horrible it is to let your cat out.

Because they eat birds? I learned about that on the neighborhood Facebook group

Eat birds, poop in neighbors' yards and for the cat's safety.

The thing about people is, they are mostly incredibly dumb.

outdoor cat populations are very bad for small vertebrate populations, though.

I thought this one was funny. I hope Mary is trolling.

Mary:
Quote
A dog just killed my kitten on 22nd St

I have lost 7 cats now !

What can be done

TeNaj:
Quote
Keep your cats indoors or in a fenced yard.

Mary:
Quote
Well These cats are feral living in the area . My kitten is ok -I call them mine because I feed them.

Chris:

So you keep feeding these cats and they come by and 7 have died.  Maybe stop feeding them so they don't come around and die?

this has 536 comments and counting, people thought it was the funniest thing they'd ever read.

My son came home to tell me there were a few kids at the park that came with a ouija board and was asking other kids to play with it. I hope whoever their parents are explain to them they shouldn't share it with other kids. If they want to play with it on their own accord, that's their choice. I don't believe those sort of things should be brought to other kids most likely unknowingly playing with it and the possible negative consequences. If my son had never mentioned it to me, I would have never known and to explain the possible negative outcomes of "playing" with one.

Does the OP ever clarify the outcomes they're concerned about

I was thinking you’d be more worried about “other kids” playing with it due to COVID...Oh, 2020

Quote from: OP
nope! I think demons are more scary than Covid for sure

OK maybe now I see that it is 650 comments of this poor woman being dragged like crazy and her defending herself.

there are a surprising number of people that are like "I don't necessarily believe in spirits but don't want to risk it"

most of the comments are very unfunny but this one made me laugh

Quote
I just had to punch a kid in the stomach halfway through trying to say candyman. Scary times we're living in right now.

also apparently this woman also tried to organize a "support the cops" rally this summer which is a big no-no here.

Quote
Wait... the same person who thinks the police are not appreciated and need a rally also thinks her kids might open a portal to demonic spirits.... that tracks...

Quote from: OP
not sure how believing service men and women in the police force deserve support from the community is the same as believing evil entities can exist

I enjoyed this comment a lot

Amber dear, go with your gut feelings! I'm not okay with Oijia boards either. They are not just creepy, Don't let all of these "well wishers" make fun of you! If you want to know what the real background of Oijia boards, Tarot cards, and all of this spiritism crap is NOT healthy for kids or adults. Google it or look on Wikipedia has lots of info. Also, These palm readers who say they can talk to peoples dead relatives and do seances are cons. It is amazing to me how many people go to these people today.
