PSA for cyclists riding in the protected lanes, especially on 4th Avenue:Slow the heck down when you’re coming to a corner. If a car is halfway into a turn it is YOUR due diligence to slow down & not speed up to beat a 10,000 pound mass of metal & fuel to the light. 9 times out of 10 the driver can’t see you & you are not going to win. This is not up for debate. I do not need anyone bashing drivers right now. This just cements the need for cyclists to be made to have registration & insurance because if the cyclist that decided to almost hit me had succeeded, I would be SOL and probably sued for something that was not my fault. Think people & share the road. I’m off my soapbox now. I hate to sound like I’m bashing cyclists, but y’all are a menace sometimes.

Woke to leave for church Easter service (8:45am) only to find that someone had squeezed Carmel or chocolate sauce along the entire driver's side of my car. I suspect that it was some kids. A $9 car wash fixed it. I'm glad it was cool and damp out last night and not 90 degrees. Just an FYI.
Anybody ever have a blank piece of paper taped to their house? Found one on my house this morning, and am pretty positive it wasn't there last night as I was doing yard work and think I would have seen it. I assume it's a test to see if anyone is home. Anyone else have an experience like this?
