My dad attended a&m back in the 70's. Told me a story once about someone he ran into that invited him to a party at A&M.
My dad went and there was drugs, women, alcohol everyone was having a good time. the host told him when he got there "The girls that are here tonight, if you see one you like pick her. She will do anything you want tonight. Guaranteed."
struck my dad as odd but he didn't want to bail. he wasn't into drugs or alcohol but the guy who invited him was faculty in his college and he didn't want to burn any bridges so he stuck around. faculty, admins, students, grad students, there was a pretty diverse crowd so he mingled
a little while later, the faculty member told him that they were about to do something special and they basically had a ritual in which they attempted to conjure or call down a demon or whatever.
at that point my dad walked out. faculty member tried to get him to stay but he told the faculty that he had other places he had to be. got invited to a couple more events but turned down all the invites.
didn't think much of it when my dad told me the story but with everything else that has come out, makes me wonder how much of this is going on on other campuses.
oh and the last detail.....something did appear during the conjuring and that was why my dad left.
my dad is one of the least superstitious people i know. shocked the hell out of me when he told me the story.
