If politicians gaf about standing by their principles, Court packing wouldn’t even be a discussion because the pubs wouldn’t consider a nominee until after the election.

That said, I don’t think Biden even gives the idea serious consideration if he wins.

LOL MPOS Chuck Schumer is already talking expanding the SCOTUS.

They should probably do a better job of framing the Republican au jus of political power as a moral and patriotic compass over the Supreme Court et al as a segue into 2021. But maybe Senate and Trump can decide to well not capitalize over corpse  :dunno:

this is insane.  they aren't broke exactly, but holy crap, they're so far behind biden.  they apparently spent 400 million in august!

one caveat is that a lot of the spending could be reserving media time for the future.

i think my 400 m number is off because (i think) i was using combined july coh and august totals to trump only august coh.  this should be the right number (just 200 m).

the campaign's own money is more useful, though.  and compared to biden, trump/'pubs have more of their money outside the campaign.

The sudden emergence of this issue is a huge gift to Biden's campaign and they are smart to take advantage.

Good to see MPOS Nancy “Tito’s” Pelosi talking impeachment for a president undertaking his constitutionally granted powers.

The incredible thing is that so many Useful Idiot BidenVoters actually listen to MPOS like Chuck Schumer and actually believe that dying SCJ can name their successor and the process,  and that a president nominating a candidate for an open position on the SCOTUS is dictated by the time and place in the term of the presidency or the time and place of the election process . . . or specifically in the case of Schumer, BidenVoter allows one of their MPOS leaders to stand up on the Senate floor and imply that the granted power of nomination given to the executive branch is now somehow, illegal.

But that's 2020 with BidenVoter Useful Idiot Nation.

Bold strategy by ChiCom Joe in not talking about the SCOTUS situation and then claiming Trump is trying to change the subject . . . when the SCOTUS is the subject.

anyone that still sincerely believes in stuff like "democratic norms" or "comity" or "process" is hopelessly naive.

tbh I'm not sure who Biden's audience is when he says stuff like that.

Lots and lots of moderate voters who are perpetually sick and tired of those gosh darn clowns in Washington.
