which is sad because "expediting immunity" is quite possibly the dumbest strategy anyone could have devised. Death rate DOES NOT scale linearly with infection rate due to a exponential decrease in quality of care. Plus, it's very possible that the future medical complications encountered by survivors will eclipse the current economic impact from a lockdown.

To me, NY waiting until Sunday to implement a lockdown is one of the more egregious things that has happened so far. I mean orange effing county implemented one a full 5 days ahead of them. Like, what were they doing?

I think that is if you don't have direct deposit information from previous tax returns. I think if the IRS has that info on file, you will see the money in a few weeks. Paper checks will take a few months (which makes no rough ridin' sense to me).
