I go to a non denomination church. He tried to correlate locust storms killing off millions, vegetation, etc. in swarms, but life after the pandemic and that vegetation would grow back after the storm and how you can’t kill regrowth after a storm. True cult crap for sure!

I wouldn't be so quick to judge. Priests/preachers/etc. are some of the dumbest folks/fuckers out there, rivalled only by their flocks. I think it's at least equally likely that both parties had no idea what was being said.
