I agree it is too hard here. You would think leaders could look at the success of other countries as a guide but no. You say it's because we've become "beta" but I'd say it's because we're overconfident in our abilities and just think we'll be the best at everything because we're America. America doesn't learn, it leads.

I agree it is too hard here. You would think leaders could look at the success of other countries as a guide but no. You say it's because we've become "beta" but I'd say it's because we're overconfident in our abilities and just think we'll be the best at everything because we're America. America doesn't learn, it leads.

I say we're beta because we don't want to try a thing to be strong/lead and just lay back waiting for a magic shot to save us.

Yesterday was the seventh highest death count to date in the country. Deaths haven't caught up to the increased number of test positives and hospital capacity so the country is in really bad shape.
