can't speak for this new Regeneron cocktail but even the good (plasma, remdesivir, etc.) stuff isn't enough to fight it off sometimes. even for people with no co-morbidities. it's a very scary disease because some people just get their asses kicked by it. and Cain's age and being african american certainly didn't help.

I just haven’t seen any mention of famous/super wealthy people dying from it, but doesn’t mean there aren’t a lot I just have missed.

Yes he's probably the oldest/richest that I know of.

Less famous/rich that I can think of are John Prine who died and Brian Cox who didn't have symptoms. But I don't think either one was outrageously wealthy.

Jack Nicklaus got it real early, Tom Hanks as well. I mean there are crap tons of former pro athletes, actors, singers, CEO’s, former CEO’s etc. Maybe they have all managed to avoid getting it but that seems unlikely.
