Hey guys. Long time no see. I watched skylar play an entire football game in person last night and just wanted to let everyone know that he is genuinely very good. Take the running skills of Beas and mix it with the passing skills of may and you have junior year skylar Thompson. Not joking.

What will be fun to see is if that's his standard level or high bar level. If that's par for the course, yes he'll be a really good one.

He’d probably be a Heisman candidate with a legit P5 WR Corp.  I feel bad for him because 2020 is going to be roooouuuughhh unless the staff pulls off a recruiting miracle on the OL.

I legit think it’s standard. It’s a crap team that he played against but he looked so composed, calm, confident and cool. He’s good. I’m sure he’ll have a couple of crap games against defenses that are just flat out better but yikes I think he’s the real deal.

I mean he wouldn’t be a heisman candidate, but the team would absolutely have a chance to jump up and surprise everyone. Maybe one of those receivers is actually really good and we just don’t know it yet. That’s certainly possible.

I think our WRs have potential. They’re just young AF.

Knowles was open alot and it seems like they made it a point to target him early in the game. If he can learn to catch the ball....Whoaaa Nelly!

I like that he wasn't getting the crap beat out of him all game. Also he looked extremely composed when pressured, something he really didn't last season. (Because he has better coaching now.)

Speaking of potential, John Holcombe holy crap.  He needs to see the field more in whatever capacity they can get him on it.

Yes, all of the starters are seniors but the backups are young dudes who played quite a bit last night. I'd be willing to bet that by the end of the year at least two of those underclassmen will be starting. Also if that's what the offense is going to look like, they should have no trouble recruiting who they want.

Yeah, it’s the kind of offense that develops pros imo. Pro o line, pro QBs, pro RBs, Pro TEs, Pro WRs.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I’m talking kids from Colby that were raised on genetically modified crops and fracking water. kids that are like 340 lbs already and they’re 17. stuff those mutants into a purple uniform and tell them the defensive guys from the other team are democrats. that’s how you build an offensive line.
