Mediocrity is all they can hope for.

I wouldn't be surprised if he sticks for two more years to see if Purdy can take them any farther and leaves after that.  Might set him up for a particularly big job opening instead of a moving up to a mid-tier opening.  Also would think he would aim for a B10 job with his history in the region.

They are absolutely thrilled with the Mediocrity of the last 3 years, best 3 year run in program history. Of course they are going to pay whatever it takes to keep the 7-5 / 8-4 train rolling.

i mean he's arguably the best coach they have ever had, so it's really their only play to do whatever they can to keep him (including overpaying) in hopes he'll continue to recruit well and have their ku orange bowl fluke season at some point

Looks like the exact moment of insertion. Pitching or catching, still works
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

It's amazing to me that everyone always seems to think ISU has a good coach. They have never had one and probably never will.

Yeah I saw this tweet and was like yeah because they all have sucked terribly. Even Chizik sucked and no one had any idea why Auburn hired him.

A lot of people in the media thought Paul Rhoads was some sort of coaching genius when he was winning 6 or 7 games, too.

A good coach at any big 12 school should be able to win or seriously complete for a conference title at some point in their first 5 years or so. If they can’t do that, they’re not getting poached.

You know he lucked into Purdy, just like Snyder did with Klein.

Wow!  Only left out a glory hole reference, otherwise  pretty complete.
