American Eagle out of Manhattan

I fly American Eagle from College Station to DFW a lot. Is that service cost effective in Manhattan, or do most people still drive to Kansas City to hop on a plane?

yes, it's great having a real airport with real service and not being flyover country.

I flew MHK-DFW-MHK last month over KCI.    It was great.   Free parking, short lines.   I was off the plane and in my truck within 10 minutes of landing.

Delta services the F out of the northwest and southeast. great plains/southwest, not so much at all.

example: delta flies to 8 (EIGHT!) different destinations in Montana. however the only flight out of Kansas is Wichita to ATL or MSP.

Flew Delta on my last trip. Loved my experience.

The best part about flying from MHK is parking my car 30 minutes before take off and never waiting more than 2 minutes to get through security. Very #efficient.

Few years ago I had 6am flight from mhk, got to the kiosk at 5:31 and they wouldn't let me get a boarding pass (it was 30 min they told me)

Flight was delayed 30 minutes right after that and they still wouldn't let me get my pass. They hadn't even opened up security yet.

I  was pretty bummed and then had to pay $75 or something to change to the afternoon flight.

Prob the system that won't let them check people in.  I don't think the agents were trying to stick it to you.
