We're sorry to report that Allegiant Air will fly its last flight from MHK to Phoenix on Feb 23. Our market wasn't strong enough.

ms tonya just flew this on friday. except her plan was to fly to kc and american cancelled the flight and manhattan was the next closest airport.

Also, the Topeka airport authority burned through the $1.95 million in state and federal funds it received to guarantee United’s revenues by the end of May, forcing the airline to cover shortfalls after that.

This was doomed from the beginning...Topeka is too close to a large airport for this to work. MCI->ORD flights are about $100 cheaper than FOE(

)->ORD flights.
