in stade beer
« on: June 05, 2019, 09:18:36 AM »
since the SEC and more big 12 stadiums are going to this, what's the point in not doing it now and forgoing all the revenue that comes with it, when it's clearly inevitable?

this will also likely end being able to leave the stadium and getting back in, which i have mixed feelings on.

I used to enjoy the halftime beer break but now I'm getting too old and lazy to do all of that extra walking.

Love to pound booze and just get rowdy at games. Love it so much. Scream swear words at the teams. The works.

I find myself getting more annoyed at the folks (non-students) that go out at halftime and are too lazy to come back...or come back halfway through the 3rd quarter just to leave halfway through the 4th.  I personally am at a point where I would rather go to a concession for overpriced beer and get back to my seat.

I might also enter the stadium earlier if I knew I could buy beer at concessions immediately.  Get my rage going sooner, ya know?

people don't come in right after half because we have sucked and have been boring to watch for quite some time now, hope that helps

I also do it myself, but honestly not intentionally.  Yes, sucking doesn't help.  Past few years we have been in good games and had shitty attendance after halftime through most of the 3rd quarter.  This has been happening for many years.

I personally lose track of time.  I find it hard to get more than a beer down by the time I need to walk back to the gates.  I'm just getting lazy and old and don't want to put in a ton of effort just to drink one beer.  I could instead get a pounder at the concession or from a nice dude yelling "beers here" in the aisles.  $8 for 16 oz?  Sure...why not!  Give me one for me and one for each of my buds!  "Keep the change, beer man!  Come back this way in 20-30 min and we'll do this again!"

halftime is only 20 minutes long so with the walk it only allows for like 2 minutes of booze chugging

This^^^^^^^^^^ I would gladly pay the extra for some in house suds to avoid walking in and out!

I love getting too drunk to even care about football and getting physical with opposing fans.

It takes about 12 crispy boys to get me to the yelling swears at families from out of town. Such a smooth feeling.

Maybe they'll sell ice cold Trulys? I can't imagine how many I could take to the dome during a typical cat game.

I’d get completely smashed on any of that. I love booze and making fans of other teams feel scared/mad.

First of all, I love getting hammered. Secondly, emasculating some dad in front of his kids for being a fan of some trash team is so good. It makes my balls go completely numb with heat.

Texas serves Shiner Bock at its' baseball games......but you do have to pay dearly ($9.50 for a tall boy).
