The Iranian government has been leading chants of Death to America for 4 decades, but now everyone is all angst laden and upset.

Iran is a Russian client state that has been exporting terrorism all across the Middle East. I would have thought the GOP would be overjoyed.

I don't recall saying anything about Republicans being upset. Just pointing that, to no one's surprise, ProgFacist Nation is now fully onboard with bombing the crap out of people (and/or were fully on board with bombing the crap out of anyone Trump was trying to establish relations with)

All of these people chiming in now saying that killing these guys is unwise are essentially admitting that they were (apparently) perfectly fine with allowing Iran to, in all matter of speaking, station proxy troops in another country so that they could plan and carry out attacks against the U.S. coalition and U.S. personal. . .

they are either categorically insane or utterly inept, if not both.

But they should have tried to capture these guys first, before trying to kill him...

What you're essentially proposing is that the U.S. just stand by and allow these guys to continue to attack Americans and the U.S. continue to do nothing. Don't bring the "they were fighting ISIS" BS to this discussion, they were fighting ISIS because they're a threat to Iranian power within the region and that's the only reason. These guys reportedly took direction straight from Iranian leadership, they had no civilian overseer's, so their actions were the desires of the very top aka an Islamic Fundamentalist regime that recently defended their executions of LBGTQ people. It's pretty simple, don't plan and lead attacks on U.S. assets (an act of war) and don't die.

The most hilarious thing is that Pubs are bitching about a president who for the most part spends like a drunk sailor on leave, and who hasn’t gotten the US in any new wars or sought a single regime change by military force. Catch and release is as strong as ever etc etc.

I guess they can’t wait to get one of their own in there so they can get back into the regime change business and repeatedly standing down to Vlad Putin while deporting millions.
