I am listening to Hard Knock Life and I don’t think I can actually blast this in my neighborhood.

What are the boos and jams and anthems for my grill and chill?

Maybe just lean in to like Dr. John and some Bob Marley Legend for the first half hour?

Any song from a Dairy Queen commercial seems appropriate
"The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks"

I found vampire weekend mostly annoying, but the few songs off this album seem to fit the bill.

I like Mac DeMarco better.

Mac demarco, how would you describe your music? Well, I’d call it super rough ridin' annoying but kinda fun and stupid?

I like Neil Young's voice too. I am ok with being the weird one here. I just don't like the vampire weekend's jumpy, upbeat stylings as much.

vampire weekend is a band trying to re-create 'me and julio down by the schoolyard' and never really getting there.

Alarmingly accurate, tbh.

Honestly, I've often suspected that my affection for VW is premised on the Paul Simon African Beats Era DNA lurking beneath the surface.

We did a lot of Pandora’s “Best of the 80s Reloaded Radio” yesterday.
