Well, one of the things I learned today is that Meadows is pretty rough ridin' racist.

Yes, should be a 55 year mandatory retirement like air traffic controllers

i was just thinking that cummings was doing ok for an old dude and then he broke out into "i feel bad for you, because you're a rat.  and for people that don't know how bad that is, a rat is a snitch.  we're better than this."

I lean towards him being a pretend racist for votes. I think a lot of Republicans in Washington pretend to be racists and/or mega christians. No proof of that, but just one of the things I believe  :Rusty:

A lot of LibDerp Icons pretend not to be racist and do a lot faux pearl clutching in strategic moments.

Great theatre.

LOL, Elijah Cummings said Meadows was his best friend in congress, and vice versa.

Yeah it seems like not even that big of a deal, which also makes me wonder why everyone lied about it until they got caught.

I expect Trumps poll numbers will certainly go up after this testimony. What a crap show.

They could have lit a turd on fire for the entirety of his testimony and Trump's poll numbers would go up.  Hard to go any lower after the shutdown fiasco.

Average trump voter has been telling themselves that grades and SATs mean nothing for their whole lives

Why do LibDerps think that their movement is filled with really smart people?   The people leading LibDerp Outrage Nation have a few smart people, but for the most part it's a massive collection of useful idiots.

The republican voters are typically less educated than democrats per all the polling data.  I don't think it's a stretch to say the less educated group sees SATs and grades as less important than the group that seemingly put more effort into SATs and grades.

I will say the connotation that "less-educated" means "less-smart" is pretty damaging, though.

This is such a good point.

The whole thing was pretty frustrating.

I think it's a bigger deal than Hillary using a private email account to circumvent freedom of information laws, and I cared about that. I would probably care more about the Russian meddling if there weren't at least 100 things worse about Trump to care about.

For both of those the corresponding lies were quite a bit worse imo.

That's an "impressive" list of Dems on that panel.
