I hate it every time we take them, but every time they go down it feels so good. So basically I’m an emotional roller coaster when watching our cats. :ksu: :emawkid:

I must say, watching every important mid- and long-range shot drop in against my horns in the final 8 minutes of the game made me a Minister of Ulcers :frown:

Sure, you're just not an alumnus of UT.

Well, we shoot them a lot; only Baylor shoots more. We are 3rd in making them.

That's interesting charting. I'll surprised that were behind Baylor in 2 point jump shots. I'm assuming we get zoned more than anyone else and with how well they rebound, I'd think Baylor doesn't get zoned much.

Least efficie :combofan:nt shot in basketball? We don’t give a crap.
And yet the teams taking around 30% are in the upper half of the Big 12. OSU and WVU take the least and are at the bottom of the Big 12.

.37*2=.74
.33*3=.99
.55*2=1.1

that's not because taking a midrange shot is a good shot. it's even worse because relative to other teams our midrange % is good and 3point % is bad. the gap between transition and 3's is even wider than 3's and 2's. we could shoot 25% from 3 and it'd be better than shooting a midrange shot.

lol at people who think mid range jumpers are bad. they were bad before the analytics revolution popularized point-blank 2's and 3's. but now they are actually quite good. shoot the open ones, not the contested ones, and you will be fine. try it out sometime and your mind will be blown.

yeah, mid-range jumpers are like the first spots I pick in HORSE games. Knuckleheads I play with trying to drain 3's from the corner, or shots from behind the glass all the while I'm up like HOR just draining jumpers.
