Grindhouse is the same movie as Death Proof, the former being the name for the double feature co-produced with he and Robert Rodriguez, KB1/2 are essentially one movie.

Watched Moulin Rouge again last night.  I really bet I've watched that movie 50 times.  Found some plotholes on this watch though that I found kind of disappointing.  It was my roommate's first time watching it and he basically revealed that Harry Ziegler was a total bad person!  I'd never really given that any consideration.

How had I never noticed "Christian" and "Satin" before?!  :surprised:

If you count Kill Bill 1 & 2 as the same movie, it might be my favorite. Such an amazing concept, mixing eastern and western stories, that very few could make work. And the Superman speech.

1. Basterds
2. Dogs.
3. Unchained.

I really don't like pulp fiction.  Weird. I know.

Haven't seen any of the others.

Last night I watched the cinema genius that is Real Steel on FX.  After watching, I went through my movie scoring system and realized that Real Steel is the best movie ever made.  The scoring system I use for all movies is listed below, as well as the score for this cinematic masterpiece:

Acting (out of 5): :star: :star:
Plot (out of 5): :star: :star:
Directing (out of 5): :star: :star:
Robot punching a bull in the face (out of 10): :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Please note that the last category is more like pass/fail and the previous categories received a bonus star for each categories role in the scene where a robot punches a bull in the face.

Ender's Game kinda sucked. First off Bonzo shouldn't have been a midget, I think without even a cursory knowledge of the book that it was obvious that Bonzo was supposed to be an older, larger kid who should be able to kick Ender's ass. Also, Bernard and Ender really hated each other, and the movie doesn't do crap to explain that. The first 2/3 of the book is basically battle room scenes, and the strategy in the battle room is part of what really made the book interesting, it seems weird that there were only a couple of scenes dedicated to that part of the story. No Valentine and Peter basically at all. If I had not read the book, then I would have had no idea why Ender hated Peter and loved Valentine. I think this is a rare case where the movie should have been a two-parter. First movie is all about battle school and background story on Ender. The movie ends when Ender meets Mazer Rackham. Second movie is command school alternating with scenes of Demosthenes and Locke, ending with Ender finding the Hive Queen. I think there was more than enough material to make it happen.
