Also, in cabin in the woods... doesn't Curt say his cousin bought the house that they went to, and his friends mention that his cousin has weird stuff when they go into the basement?   So does he have a cousin?  Why would his cousin send him to this house?

Beauty in the beast the prince was cursed when he was 11 years old... so how are there pictures of him being a grown man everywhere???

Humans cant figure out anything about the alien intelligence in Independence day but somehow realizes exactly how to create a trojan and implant it into their mainframe to take them down?? What???

If E.T. can levitate objects and people, such as the bike.  Why didnt he just levitate himself up to this mother ship when they left him.

Why doesn't Woody worry about his previous owners instead of constantly dwelling about Andy since he's a toy from 1958???

Stupid plot holes ruining movies.

Maybe Andy was the first owner to play with Woody?

If I had to choose just one film to be my favorite of all time, it would be The Darjeeling Limited.

This is a pretty good video essay about it.

Top 3 foreign subtitled films:  (The top 2 are probably in my top 10 overall).

1.)  City of God
2.)  A Prophet (Un Prophete)
3.)  Cell 211 (Celda 211)

Have you seen Downfall? I'm not a huge foreign film fan but it was pretty great.

City of God is excellent.

The Lives of Others is even better (if we're talking foreign films)

I've watched The Way Way Back and Bernie over the past couple of days. Both were amazing. Especially Bernie.

watched momento for the first time ever last night. pretty good flick. i think id have to watch it again to really get it because it made my head spin a little bit. once i read about the stories being told in different orders based on black/white and color it made a lot more sense.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

I fell asleep during side effects and then when I woke up was told how it ended. WOW did not see that coming! What a twist of events!

Saw Ender's Game. Good, and fairly true to the book, but I think if you haven't read the book, the movie may have glossed over a lot of details that seem important to the story. Not sure how it is as a standalone movie.

i read it in like, middle school and loved the crap out of it but i don't remember a thing about it. should i read the book before i see the movie? or just watch the movie and enjoy the ignorant bliss of not knowing what isn't in the movie?

I'd see the movie and re-read after if you feel like it. If you read it right before you might just get bogged down in the little differences between the two.
