The Pacific >>> BoB  in case that wasn't already mentioned ITT

Watch both if you haven't seen them, though. Pacific is really really violent.

The Pacific makes for a worse plot, in the traditional sense, because so, so many of those poor bastards got killed so quickly.  A far, far worse experience than what the guys in Europe went through.  Literally hell on earth.  The guys in Europe at least got to try and bang chicks and stuff....the Pacific was just one big suck.

I tell this story a lot, but my grandfather was wounded and sent home from Guadalcanal relatively early...he was stabbed by a Puerto Rican guy in his unit over a dispute.   True story.

I did not connect with pacific as much as bob due to the main characters not being connected

Exactly.  They all got rough ridin' killed (save for dudes who got knifed by Puerto Ricans, etc)

One of my favorite relationships of all time. Bonnie is such a babe, but not because of her looks.

Did the original Texas Chainsaw and House of the Dead.  Probably do Cabin in the Woods tonight as more of a low tension one.  Also did Black Christmas (the original) and that was not as good as I remembered from years ago.  Wasted pick

It was bad.  The backstory is half-assed nonsense.

Well, since I don't really value your opinion I'm going to watch anyways. But if it sucks you can say "I told you so".

Hmmm, seems a bit fuckface-y, but it happens.  Maybe Dub will get back to you.

Back from a hiatus you guys.  Saw Upstream Color this past weekend and I want my time back. I get the indie movie "make you think" ending but that was just plain ridiculous.  I knew I should have seen Bad Grandpa instead of the artsy flick.  I can never be that hipster that is checking their macbook pro at Starbucks while talking about an NPR program they had listened to or some BBC news article they read.
