The Scottish dudes' rants were amusing.  James Gandallfini was awful.

Day breakers   :barf: :bang:

Terriby disappointed that even the great Ethan Hawke couldn't carry this horribly written glorified SciFi channel  bullsh*t

I liked it.  If you like scifi channel bullshit, this movie is for you, if you don't then it is not for you.

I thought that Day Breakers looked horrible when I saw the previews. A lot of people told me it was pretty good, so I watched it. Sure enough, it was just terrible. The whole vampire thing is just so played out now, and I wish it would just die.

The next sure-to-be terrible movies that I just can't resist watching: Book of Eli and Legion. I don't know why I do it to myself but I just can't help it.

I'll be watching The Crazies tonight. Hopefully it will be a nice, fun gory flick that won't even worry about plot, much like Ninja Assassin.

The Two Escobars was pretty cool.

I also agree that Toy Story 3 was meh.

Regarding Vampire movies, I sill like the genre, even though I haven't seen a single twilight.

I wouldn't say I hate the genre. I thought Bram Stoker's Dracula was amazing (even Keanu couldn't ruin it) and I like to watch True Blood for comic relief sometimes. I just hate how every vampire movie writes its own rules for vampires (how long it takes for sunlight to kill them, resistance to holy water, garlic, etc.) Also, the last time I was in the book store, I walked past the teen section and noticed that in the entire section, maybe 10 books weren't about vampires. Is this crap all that kids read these days? :cyclist:

I also don't understand how Twilight is so popular. The two movies that have come out so far are two of the worst movies that I have ever seen. They make Daybreakers look like it deserves an oscar.

i actually have a thing for really horrible movies. i usually love em. one day i was relaxing and didn't have anything to do and the first one was on tv. i tried watching it. and it was too much. it sucked so bad i couldn't even get enjoyment out of its sure audacity or retardedness. completely unfun and flat out shitty.

i didn't see the latest Rambo that came out in 2008 but I liked the rest (including Rambo 3). the russian gunship helicopters in Rambo 3 made that movie.

I thought the newest one was surprisingly good. The start is a little slow, but it really picks up. A lot of action and a lot of gore.

My roommate sold it (DBers) to me as being  a similar story to 28 Days Later.  Even after several  :bigtoke: I couldn't make the connection other than they  are both set in the future, and both deal w/ some sort of virus/outbreak.  W Dafoe's cheezy ass lines were the only thing that made it watchable.

Looks like we're on the same movie schedule, I'm all  over The Crazies tonight.

I'll be watching JCVD tonight. And since it's starring Jean Claude Van Damme and it's kind of about Jean Claude Van Damme, it'll be a Damme good night.

The latest Rambo is awesome in the same ways that the other ones are.
