sounds like Gravity is going to kick ass

98% on rotten toms  :surprised:

can i do it in theaters, though? seems like a very high stress movie.

gotta do 3D, apparently

I heard this as well, from someone who hates 3D.

I hate 3D, but in space I would imagine it can be done really well.  Most 3D movies its just superfluous and is only used to shoot objects at the viewer during explosions or break glass.

i said rough portrayal.

I think I heard somewhere that there is new technology used to make it look amazing in 3D.   Any truth to this?

I'm also wondering if it's all just special effects and the story will be lacking.  Guess I'll hear soon.

have heard from an A+ source that it's an amazing story (90 minutes in realtime) and the best 3d they've ever seen.

Took the eight year old to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. Thumbs up all around the house. Good kid movie with some zingers that only the big kids understand.

The early reviews show that it's a great one.  I can't believe the IMAX 3D megaplex down the street from me isn't showing it.  Unreal.

I went to it tonight and it was kind of weird getting in my car and driving after watching the screen spin around for about 80 minutes straight during the movie. I felt kind of dizzy. It was a great movie, though. It beat out Pacific Rim for best of 2013 so far, imo.

Enjoyed and would recommend both.

Cas4KSU did not enjoy "Gravity", but I think it looks pretty neat.  I'll probably take GFmeister when I go visit her here in a few weeks.

I agree with Neil. That really bugged me too, when *SPOILER* Clooney couldn't pull himself toward Sandra in zero gravity. It was still a fun, enjoyable movie, though. The 3D was awesome.
