star trek, did anyone actually see that one?  it's star trek so i'm sure it sucked

I don't like the idea of making 3 new movies to begin with. I'll probably go see them, but I'm still mad about it. Abrams will probably do a decent job but lets be honest- these films will never been accepted as part of star wars in most fan's minds.

I don't like the idea of making 3 new movies to begin with. I'll probably go see them, but I'm still mad about it. Abrams will probably do a decent job but lets be honest- these films will never been accepted as part of star wars in most fan's minds.

I think they will be accepted. The whole Disney thing will fade away soon and people will be jacked for new Wars. There is an extended universe that has developed in novels and comic books that can be drawn on to help with the acceptance. I know that I will be taking off work and waiting in line for the new movies as will ever other Wars fan.
