Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Re-watched Rain Man last night.

"hee-hee Charlie Babbitt made a joke"
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Argo-      :raccoon: Yes go see it. Good story and good acting. Probably not as much fun if you know the entire  back story and end result, though.

Wreck It Ralph-    A great mixture of corny jokes and some stuff that was genuinely funny.

Yeah. It's probably the worst I've ever come across, actually, if we aren't counting B movies.

Breaking Dawn 2 was surprisingly terrible.  I made my GF watch horror movies she didn't want to see in exchange for seeing Breaking Dawn with her.  I laughed at how dumb it was and ruined it for most the theater.  I know terrible movies making money isn't uncommon, but holy crap.

Have you seen any of the other ones? Each one is the worst movie I've ever seen.

No. Pissed off my GF when I would say things like "So the werewolf is a pedophile?" and apparently didn't know what was going on.

Breaking Dawn part 2. It was terrible.

hard hitting analysis.

Really not worthy of deeper analysis. BUT to make a short story longer -- acting was wooden and horrid. Dialogue was really, really awful. But I liked the music and they managed to make Kristen Stewart look gorgeous, so some real Oscar worthy make-up.

I'm not embarrassed to admit that I adored the first book. #TeamEdward

You forgot to mention the plot holes.
Although Kristen Stewart didn't cross her eyes awkwardly as much in this one.

Lincoln.

Basically 3 hours of DDL acting.  Does an incredible job.  Should win an Oscar.  probably will.

Story was good.  Never knew the theory that Lincoln intentionally delayed peace negotiations to ensure passage of the 13th Amendment.  i.e. many supported abolition if it meant the war would end, not out of morality.  Hence, if the war was already over before the House voted on the Amendment, not enough people would support abolition.

good movie.  a little slow.  a little long.  again, basically DDL just doing incredible acting for 3 hours.

Story was good.  Never knew the theory that Lincoln intentionally delayed peace negotiations to ensure passage of the 13th Amendment.  i.e. people supported freeing slaves if it meant the war would end.  But, if the war was already over, people wouldn't as much.

This is a very good review, imo

Oh man, so I assume the movie Piranha has not been discussed in this thread. But you know what? It should. If you like horror movies with absurd amounts of gore, boobs, and bad acting this is a gem to be treasured.

That scene toward the end with the motorboat is just awful.  Plus the ending cut.

Plus Christopher LLoyd!
