Saw lawless tonight, it was alright.   Maybe 7/10.  Kinda slow at times. Tom hardy is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors though.

Have you seen RocknRolla?

i watched a movie in my dream last night, thought about posting the name of it in this thread, and then realized, while still in my dream, that it wasn't a real movie and i was dreaming.

does this belong in last night's dream thread, or recent motion picture viewing thread?

I think that belongs in the "I made an appointment to see my shrink because....." thread.

i thought i'd watch 'salmon fishing in the yemen', because i really like emily blunt and ewan mcgregor. i should've expected it, but it was pretty boring. for the first hour & thirty minutes all they did was hang out in the yemen and do pretty much nothing. then they packed the last 20 minutes with all kinds of emotional stuff. it wasn't great, just okay.

I watched Hesher last night. It has JGL, Dwight from The Office and Natalie Portman in it.

It's a pretty meh movie, but JGL is kind of funny in a "wtf" kind of way.

:dubious:  Great review, Dluke12.

Hesher starring JGL and Natalie Portman.  Dark comedy.  Good.  Some LOLs and feelings.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

He doesn't register because he mostly just had a beard and cried a bunch the few times he was on screen.  The one testicle speech was pretty great.

It was the delivery.

Also the setting and the lesson imparted.  Plus he puked.

It's definitely not for everybody.  My wife stopped watching about half way through.

ProTip: The ending is horrible and reaffirms the fact that this movie does in fact suck.

Bought Cabin In the Woods on one of those early release purchases on Zune.  Worth it.

It was a hoot.  Very fresh concept.  I had a lot of fun watching that movie.  It's been a while since I have been able to say that.  Just a lot of fun.

I assume I posted my review for Cabin in the Woods, but if I didn't, it would have pretty much said all of this.
