That's not a spoiler, that's typically the only thing anyone knows about the movie before they watch it.

Fantastic movie, FWIW. It was the best I saw this year.

qft. was an absolutely amazing film. if you've seen swan lake and know the story well it is incredible to see what aronofsky transformed the story into and how much he made it a completely new and original thought ripe with allegory and meaning that was completely absent in the original. a masterpiece of adaptation to script and very well shot and directed.

Watched 127 Hours just now.  Very good and a true story.  Guy gets trapped in the middle of nowhere, learns life lessons, etc.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

It was surprisingly entertaining, considering he's trapped there for 97% of the movie. I watched it right before going to 84-68. It was an all-around amazing day.

I've always wanted to reclaim the 2+ hours I spent watching Cast Away back in the day, so I'm consciously avoiding 127 Hours.

Yeah. I have no interest in that movie primarily because Franco is in it. Also, because it looks boring with little chance of bewbs.

Big Fish. Verdict: Meh.

yeah that movie was a good watch and all, but it just annoyed me more than anything. apparently in real life there was a bridge that guy could have crossed that was less than a mile away and he would have survived. instead, he essentially tortured his family for a while and made other people clean up his mess.
