Air was good. i thought it was funny how they kept trying to throw historical facts into the character dialogue. "You started this company in 1963 ... "

Air was just okay, the first 45 minutes were better than the second 45

I really enjoyed the Dungeons and Dragons movie. It was funny! I didn't know it would be so funny. Well anyway, my wife and I really enjoyed it.

Rewatched Nomadland last night with one of the lil croppings after she read the book. The footage of Western landscapes (esp the Pacific coast) was achingly beautiful. Also, outside of Winters drinking coffee at Bastonge in BoB and the veterinarians sharing tea with clients after difficult cases in All Creatures Great and Small, I'm hard pressed to think of a more poignant portrayal of humans sharing hot drinks than when Fern makes up that thermos of coffee and proceeds to go around the campsite offering it to others.

Guardians was good but felt a bit slow with all the backstory in the middle. Although, I'll probably watch all three in a binge next winter though. Knowing the full story will make the first two even better IMO.

I was a bit disappointed. I was hoping for something a bit more adult and a little less pre-teen.  Great effects tho.

Creed 3. Not bad but kind of anti-climactic. How did the old Rocky movies do the end fight so much better than these newer Creed movies?

I think it lost steam when they took the crowd out of it.

A lot of the drama in the Rocky fights was the corner time between rounds

My theory is there are only so many ways a fight can go and they already used up the good ones in Rocky 1 through 4.

That's certainly plausible. I thought they had an angle with this one where Dame would fight dirty and then maybe injure Creed doing something dirty or whatever. But there was barely anything like that at all. Missed opportunity imo.

Did not enjoy the Flash. It was ok, but mostly woof. You could tell it was just all over the place and they were like, "lets just throw in a bunch of different Batmen and Supermen and maybe people will forget this was supposed to be a Flash movie".

Waiting for Guffman was a funny and enjoyable movie. I watched this thinking it was a Wes Anderson movie, but apparently it's isn't. Great cast: Eugene Levy, Fred Willard, Catherine O'Hara, Parker Posey and others.
