i rented “baby driver” last night and the following are my thoughts on the film
-meh
-was weird to see kevin spacey
-whatever the shakespeare wannabe director was trying for was laid on way too thick and became distracting to the story line
-pretty much a failure in most every aspect of the creation of a film

ultimately it kind of gave me a stomach ache, so whatever

Heist. The one from 2001 since there's multiple movies with that title IIRC. Has a good main cast of Gene Hackman, Delroy Lindo and Sam Rockwell but overall it kinda sucks. Some of the dialogue was so cringe.

I just watched Hereditary and let me to try to explain this in gE music thread terms.
Horror is the country music of movie genres, and Ari Aster & Rob Eggers are Sturgill & Isbell. Just incredible stuff

Just got back from Top Gun and I still have a freedom boner. Great flick! Jennifer Connelly is still a smokeshow. Wacky your guy Miles Teller has one of the creepiest mustaches ever but it was necessary to complete his look.

i watched Another Round which is a danish movie about 4 guys who experiment with being buzzed on booze all the time (more specifically, 8a-5p on weekdays) and as you can imagine it ends poorly. did enjoy, do recommend.
