Go back and watch the original, Mrs. Gooch. It's fun to compare and contrast and then you'll understand where they're heading for the 2nd one.

Is there any on-screen kid killing? I remember the old tv series as being super creepy but the actual killing took place off screen. I don't care to see pennywise luring kids into the sewer.

Sounds like I'd have a problem with the first few minutes. I thought IT was one of King's better stories, but actually having to watch that rough ridin' clown drag a kid into the sewer... no thanks.

The original IT forced me to sleep in my parents room for like two months after I saw it. I had to pay tribute to scaring the eff out of lil wacky back in the day.
