That Heat shootout scene in the street at the end with the automatic weapons is a really great scene.  One of the best of that kind.

Well CF3, I tried.

Manchester by the sea. Just super sad and super boring. Just pure monotony occasionally broken up by some heart wrenching sadness. I hated it.

Indy 1 and 3 were both great. Indy 2 seems to get a bad rap but I like it. Anyone who disagrees is a mouth breathing dumbass (who probably also enjoyed Arrival).

Now Indy 4, what an awful piece of trash. Did George Lucas have his fingerprints on that, like the SW prequels?

I'm hearing they're now making a 5th one. Hopefully without George Lucas.
Just reading through and indy 5 has a green light and is in production.

Saw GotG2 lastnight.  Loved it.  I think those movies are great.

I thought the main plot line was a little loose for GotG2.  Their goal seemed to be a lot of character development and to see how many jokes they could cram in there.  Not quite as good as 1 for me but that's probably just because I knew what to expect.

I recently got the movie channels for the first time. Well I just finished Suicide Squad. It was alright, nothing like the previews. To be completely honest I was disappointed. Like what was the plot even supposed to be? Some super natural thing after Batman cleared the streets?  Weird.

I just watched The Great Wall with my 9 year old.

I recommend it.  It's amazing how terrible it is.  The effects are good, but holy crap what a terrible movie!  Remarkable.

There is a John Coltrane documentary currently playing at the Tivoli, only for 2 more nights. I saw it last night, and I recommend it highly. If you love jazz or know nothing of the genre, its a beautiful picture of a giant in American Music.

BONUS FOR LIBS: Bill Clinton is interviewed in it and was amazing. I could listen to him talk about p much anything.

King Arthur.  Too long, but quite fun.  One zillion people get stabbed in this movie.  They say the f word once.  My grade school son enjoyed it.

Alien Covenant is one of the best of the franchise. Maybe right behind the first two. But damn is it grim. It's easy to forget, what with Aliens being more of a straight up sci-fi/action movie, that this is really a horror series at heart. Covenant is more in the vein. Way better than Prometheus (and I kinda liked Prometheus for what it was).
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.
