Arrival: pretty good but a weird pace. It takes like an hour to see the aliens (and lol that they don't tell them what to expect on the helicopter ride or bio suit or on the pickup ride or on the lift). And then in like 10 minutes she has the whole language on an ipad. Still enjoyed it.

Girl on the Train: total snooze fest, did anyone like this? @Spracne, give me them RT score and I will adjust.

Did I mention that we watched Moana last weekend? I really liked it. I'm not sure it reached the level of tangled/frozen but it's really good. Some great songs that I had stuck in my head for a few days.

Finally saw Logan yesterday...one of the best Marvel movies released to date in my opinion.

Jason Bourne. 6.7 out of 10. Same ol plot. I love this series too much though. And Alicia Vikander! Going to watch The Danish Girl next.

Could only do half of it last night. I have such amorous feelings for Alicia that it was hard for me to watch the first Lili outing and aftermath. I am intrigued though. Will finish.

I watched "Edge of Seventeen" last week. It was pretty great.

Enjoyed Rogue One on second viewing even better than the theater. Definitely a top shelf SW film. I still think the beginning was a bit jumpy, Forest Whitaker's character seemed out of place and should have been cut or developed more, and the main protagonist dude was probably miscast and has basically no chemistry with the lead actress, but overall a very enjoyable movie. Droid was great. Bad guys have easily the best screen time of any SW film. Probably the best battle sequence, too, on Scariff. Some parts were actually shot like a war movie instead of Lucas's non-stop over-the-top CGI.

i just watched it for the first time last week, i really liked it. imo much better film than the force awakens.
