the gayness of the clock and the candlestick is a tale as old as time, certainly not exclusive to the new one

What I don't get about beauty and the beast is that he is supposed to be hideous and terrifying but he actually looks pretty chill and quite pet-able. A real curse should turn a [redacted] into a ridley scott alien monster. Try getting someone to love you then. The beast is actually more attractive than the human prince version.

Someone should tell dumbass Mrs KSU that the gay stuff was in the original too, but evangelicals didn't have Fox News back then

Have not seen the movie, but did I hear they put a dude in a dress to depict that he is gay? That seems a bit offensive....
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

3 dudes got put into dresses. One of them looked like he enjoyed it.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

If you see it, please explain the skin tight nude-ish outfit. I mean Scarlett does many things for me with her appearance but I hope there is a better reason than a blatant sexual grab.

it's actually the opposite
the movie is based upon a japanese anime series of the same name. the main character in both is motoko kusanagi (scar jo).
it's not an outfit.  she's a cyborg who had a bad accident when growing up that makes her use a full body prosthesis to hold her cyber brain.

Fair enough. I had no idea of the backstory. Thanks for the info.

A great movie enhanced by a surprise cameo appearance by James Eckhouse of BH 90210 fame.

Yes, excellent.  One of only 3 movies I've shed an actual tear during in the theater.

I think it's still a suit. In the anime she still has human ish skin nude scenes without it.

The anime is an incredible film, but the English voice dub is atrocious

well yeah it's a suit that covers her robot body. anything anime related is going to have overt sexual overtones

I watched the animated Ghost in the Shell about 10 years ago because it was on some list of must watch sci-movies. Hated it. Anime is definitely not my thing. I do remember the girl spends a lot of time undressing for some reason I can't really recall.

Anyone seen "sleepers"? I saw it as a young lad and vaguely remember the plot. I've never been able to get the baton scene out of my head
