I didn't watch the whole movie. Denzel has proven he can be angry and cocky over and over again. It didn't even seem like acting. Just Denzel being Denzel with older cars.

Maybe it gets better? Again I'm not a huge Denzel fan. I think his value as an actor us way overblown.

of course you did cause he was awesome, but his is still his majority typecast role. analyzing his filmography lends me to believe he has above average performance diversity.

Training Day (intentional play flipping the denzel type on ur face)

probably fences (haven't seen)

I think his pure volume makes him appear less versatile than he really is
