no not that bad. but it was like as soon as a character got cool and intriguing they shoved another 11 on the screen. there were just too many people

I overheard someone say that the Alt-right people think the Movie plot to portray the Empire as being like older white males in the U.S., and they are painted as bad guys keeping women and minorities down.  Might be true, not certain tho.   

But, a great film!  Really fun movie.

Some people were upset the director or writer or someone tweeted that the empire is are white supremacists. I don't even think the movies portray the Empire like that, other than that they have a lot of old white guys.

Rogue One - pretty good. Like a dirty dozen war movie. Was surprised how directly it prequeled even though I was prepped for it here. Concur with the Vader scene assessment. I would love to watch like 90 minutes of primetime Vader just trashin' reb's

Vader is just so great, man.  I was like "those dudes are mumped," when they were crouching in that hallway.

went to see rogue one at the alamo drafthouse today, left about 10 minutes into the film

the movie seemed like it was going to be pretty good.  but between the place having become a shithole, the pigs behind me ordering everything on the menu 2x and me getting to smell their greasy, salt-laden foodstuffs, the dude sitting next to me having bathed in some stank cologne, and the thermostat kept at 97 degrees, i decided i'd try to catch it somewhere else. 

when i've been there before, the usually drop the lights when the movie starts.  not today, they needed jaba the hut behind me to be able to see each one of his 4th order of potato skins as he shoveled them into his mouth.

I literally almost got into a IRL fight one time there. We were watching sausage party (awful) and mrs wacky whispered to me about something. Anyways, this fat ass couple sitting next to us shushed us so rough ridin' hard, people like leaned back to see wtf was going on. It really was unwarranted, because we were being super quiet and they were 10X louder eating their trough of food. I then walked by them when the movie was over and shared some unkind words and called the dude a vagina. He then acted like he was getting up to do the thing and then his wife held him back and said "he's not worth it".
