The new X-Men movie was pretty good. A few slow pays but overall good action and story.

Now there is an uproar over a poster of Mystique getting choked.

Pretty misogynistic to say that it is not ok to show a woman getting choked - as if her position as a strong mutant / superhero is outweighed by the fact that she has a vagina.

I thought 10 Cloverfield Lane was alright.  I liked that it was short.  If a movie needs more than 90 min to tell its story then it needs to just be a book.

Got enticed to see ID-Resurgence with free (thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster) passes.

Don't go, don't even rent the DVD when it comes out, don't even watch on NetFlix.

Independence day is a giant visually appeal pile of crap. The special effects are cool but the dialogue is cheese on top of cheese just awful. There are so many preachy "America is coming to save the day" speeches even though the earth is some super together Utopian society. so bad.
