Hateful eight

I liked it, even though the first half was a bit slow.  It was enjoyable to watch.

Did you watch Too Big to Fail, the documentary narrated by Matt Damon?  That was good but super depressing.  Does it feel the same way?

Trainwreck was supposed to be about Amy Schumer being slutty, but it turned out to be about two sisters who had to put their dad in a nursing home then he died.  :frown:

I almost watched this, and decided not to based on this review.  Thanks!  I would have fallen into the same trap!

Yes Lib!  Looper!  One of my favorite movies EVER.

I got a little misty-eyed the first time I saw it.

If you are planning on watching The Big Short, I recommend that you first watch Too Big to Fail.

...though, you might enjoy Too Big to Fail if you really liked The Big Short's content.

Saw Everybody Wants Some this weekend. Richard Linklater's spiritual sequel to Dazed and Confused. If you liked D&C you will really enjoy this movie. Much like a lot of Linklater's work it doesn't have a defined plot, but the characters are solid.

Also watched Man Up on Netflix with Mrs. Yard Dog. It is a good romantic comedy if you are into that sort of thing. Leaves you happy and isn't too sappy to enjoy.

We tried to see Everybody Wants Some but it is not playing in Wichita. Apparently it was only a limited release.

I just about complained at you for watching this without me until I realized that I had been there when you watched it. I need some sleep.

My last two movies have been the big short and spotlight, I need a suggesto for something that will make me happy afterward.
