Deadpool... So, so good.

The line for this looked like a cross breeding of ufc fans and korn fans circa jnco

Furious 7. What a pile of crap. I'm not 100% sure Paul Walker did not commit suicide due to the shame of that pile.

:Yuck: I haven't seen any of them since the first one. Employee of Month was the greatest POS I've ever seen again. I actually watch it, because I've never seen a movie with such crap acting and stars in one. It's pretty amazingly bad!

I really liked Dead Pool.  I am out of town for work and went to it by myself.  I still laughed a ton, and I thought I wouldn't as much by myself.

I heard that parents who took their kids left within the first 5 minutes because it was so bad (good). I really need to see it.

one of the punch lines of the trailer was him saying "wait, did i leave the stove on?"

and yet, 8.6 on imdb and 84% on RT

That's because it was edited for TV. In the movie he actually says "fuuuuuuuuuuuck, did I leave the stove on?" - which is hilarious. Deeadpool is well known for breaking the fourth wall and having split personas with different priorities. Which a lot of people were nervous about considering general audiences might not like it. I went with Mrs. Yard Dog and she absolutely loved it, even said she'd be willing to see it again it was so funny.

yeah I allow my kids to see a bunch of stuff that most parents would not and even though I haven't seen deadpool yet, I know enough to know not to take them.

Looking to go to a movie this weekend, Mrs. Dub wants to see Room (she read the book) but also wants to catch the Revenant before it goes out of theaters.  Is Room a chick flick or pretty good?  Also, is Revenant a must for in theater watching?

Must see Revenant in theaters. You will miss nothing by watching room at home (also not a chick flick, it's decent)

room is not a "chick flick" but it is a movie that is meant for both men and women to watch, maybe even more so for women
