When his motion pictures eliminated all realism, they ceased to exist.

1. Bottle Rocket is the best and it's not even close (I realize this is an overused expression on message boards but it absolutely applies here)
2. Stevesie!!! (not top half of Anderson movies tho)

Fantastic Mr. Fox is extremely under-appreciated ITT. One of my Anderson favorites.

FMF is a great movie, and Budapest is even better. I really need to see the others.

after reading all of the pros about this from here, I rented it from GooglePlay the other night.  I still don't know how to feel about all of it.

way to go!  i sincerely hope you enjoyed it.

the one graphic scene not withstanding, i found the whole thing to be absolutely delightful.  richard jenkins' character.  man.  so good.

Character play was great, top to bottom.  Kurt is made for westerns and Jenkins made a kickass,  bumbling sidekick. Fox was also huge stud/boss.

That scene tho....

that scene certainly leaves an impression.  when i was doing a little cursory reading trying to decide if i wanted to watch it, i'd read that there was a notorious scene in the movie.  and after it happened, i was like "yep, that's the scene alright."

I've seen a lot of old videos on how they used to use an action similar to halve beef carcasses. .. shudder

I had a Liam Neeson mini film festival over the weekend

Taken 3:   :flush:
Run All Night:  Much better than Taken 3 but still only slightly better than meh, more like meh and a half.

Watched Whiplash last night for the first time.  He said some horrible things to that kid, but some of it was kind of funny in a way.  My favorite line was the one about the single tear and the double rainbow.  I liked it, especially the end.  Also, is it common to bleed that much while drumming?
